The presentation ceremony of the National Ticketing Company (ENBI) and its board of directors took place on August 1, at the Ministry of Finance.

The public business sector has one more company. It is the National Ticketing Company, a Public Domain Company, in charge of implementing and managing the system for social and regular passes for public passenger transport.

According to a statement published on the Institute for Management of State Assets and Participation (IGAPE) website, the company is headed by economist Henda Esandju Nicolau da Silva Inglês and has as executive directors Pedro Carmo Manuel Pereira and Alice Paula dos Santos Neves, whilst José Manuel Rela dos Santos Bento and Mário Nsingui Pedro are non-executive directors.

The National Ticketing System is the integrated mechanism for the registration (in person or online) of passengers on collective public transport, for the issue of social passes (subsidised), for children, students, young people, people with special needs, senior citizens and veterans of the fatherland, and regular passes, for the general public.

The new company, according to the statement, stresses its commitment to society and its intention to help reduce the impact of social needs in terms of transporting people and goods and improving urban mobility.

The creation of this company was authorised by Presidential Dispatch 212/21, of 8 December, with the Holders of the Ministerial Departments of Finance and Transport approving the subscription of its social capital by the Institute for the Management of State Assets and Participations (IGAPE) and the public company of Luanda Urban Collective Transport (TCUL).
