The iconic Italian restaurant “Il Gattopardo”, located in Amoreiras, on the 3rd floor of Dom Pedro Lisboa hotel, reopens with a new menu and tasting menus totally inspired by the mythical characters of the movie “Il Gattopardo”. The menus have the particularity of having the names of the mythical characters of this 1960 novel.

The menu “Don Fabrizio Corbera”, prince of Salina, based on the most classic Italian cuisine, is inspired by the traditionalist and conservative side of the character who does everything throughout the story “so that everything stays as it is”. His nephew, “Don Tancredi Falconeri”, on the other hand, breathes joviality, freshness and progressiveness, seeking “that everything changes”, combining the characteristic flavours of Italian Gastronomy.

“Se vogliamo che tutto rimanga come è, bisogna che tutto cambi”, (“if we want everything to stay as it is, we need everything to change”). Inspired by this phrase from the film, the restaurant has changed its menu, creating new dining moments, always with the aromas and flavours of Italy. The ingredients come from local suppliers and producers, reducing transport chains, becoming more sustainable and ecological.

The restaurant “Il Gattopardo” is now open from Monday to Friday for lunch from 12.30 to 15.30 and Tuesday to Saturday for dinner from 19.30 to 22.30. Also the restaurant bar is open Tuesday to Friday from 12.30pm until 10.30pm.
