The Cineteatro Capitólio, in Lisbon, will host one of the most anticipated shows of the year this Friday, October 25th: a tribute to Elton John.
At 9:00 PM on the 25th, Tom Cridland, the London-based singer who has been touring the world since 2022 with his Elton John tribute show, returns to Portugal for an unforgettable night featuring the greatest hits of one of music’s biggest legends.
A special surprise for the evening will be the participation of Nigel Olsson, Elton John’s legendary drummer, who will make a rare stage appearance to perform the iconic song “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me.”
Tom Cridland, of Portuguese descent, learned to play piano during the pandemic as a way to maintain sobriety and has always been deeply inspired by Elton John. In January 2022, he debuted his first tribute concert at Carrollton Station in New Orleans, Louisiana, and quickly expanded his show in Nashville, Tennessee, with regular performances at the Players Inn.
