Until 30 September applications are open for the competitive application process to support the international mobility of artists from the Portuguese-speaking African Countries (PALOP) and Timor-Leste in the areas of music and performing arts, for artistic residencies in 2022, in the areas of music (creation or performance of vocal, instrumental or electronic music) and/or performing arts (creation or performance in theatre, dance, circus arts, opera and performance).
The competition supports the participation of artists in international artistic residency programmes, in Europe, Brazil, Australia or neighbouring countries of the PALOP and Timor-Leste, through the attribution of travel subsidies, encouraging their international circulation.
PROCULTURA, promotion of employment and income generating activities in the cultural sector of the PALOP and Timor-Leste, is an action of the PALOP-TL and EU program, financed by the European Union, co-financed and managed by Camões, I.P. and co-financed by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
