Customers of Linhas Aéreas de Angola (TAAG) will now benefit from a credit limit of up to 5 million kwanzas (USD 5,400), financed by Standard Bank Angola in six interest-free installments, with only an initial payment of a one-time fee, depending on the repayment period.
The partnership stems from an agreement signed between the two institutions, aimed at facilitating the planning of domestic and international travel. It is a financial solution called “Buy Now, Pay Later.”
According to a TAAG statement, the main objective of this partnership is to boost population mobility, stimulate domestic tourism, and facilitate international travel for Angolan families, democratizing access to air transport services for all segments of the community.
In this first phase, the purchase of airline tickets under a monthly installment plan is available at TAAG stores in Luanda and in other provinces, as well as through the Call Center.
At the same time, the Angolan airline assures that teams are already developing the second phase of the collaboration project, which aims to extend access to this service to the website and mobile app FLYTAAG.COM by the end of 2026.
