The Angolan advertising market is dominated by mass media, with radio and television standing out, while the digital sector is experiencing significant expansion, said today in Luanda the National Director of Advertising, José Matuta.
The official was speaking during the workshop “The Power of Information in OOH Media – When Information Guides Investment,” under the theme “OOH Intelligence: Data, Audience Measurement and Impact on Brand Growth,” an initiative aimed at promoting strategic reflection on Angola’s advertising market.
José Matuta, who spoke on behalf of the Secretary of State for Social Communication, Nuno Caldas, also highlighted the positive growth of the advertising sector in the country, which contributes 3.2% to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), reinforcing its role in job creation and the diversification of the national economy.
He also emphasized that the main challenge continues to be audience measurement, particularly in the OOH (Out-of-Home) segment.
