Angolan civil servants will once again receive their 13th-month salary in a single payment, replacing the instalment-based system that had been in place for more than five years.<\/p>\n
The information was announced by the National Directorate of the State Budget (DNOE) in a press release cited by ANGOP on Monday, in which the institution confirmed the full payment of the Christmas bonus, although according to a staggered schedule by sector groups due to public treasury management requirements.<\/p>\n
According to the document, the payment schedule will begin in August with Ministerial Departments. In September, Sovereign Bodies will receive the payment, while the Health, Education and Local State Administration sectors are scheduled for October.<\/p>\n
The Armed Forces bodies will receive their payment in November, completing the process of settling the 13th-month salary for the public sector.<\/p>\n
